As a concerned citizen, I believe a resilient, well-funded, public healthcare system is crucial to our community.
I am asking you, Dr. Pichora, to stand up against the Ford government and reject privatization. This could be enough that you speak out against his plans. If the CEOs of Ontario's hospitals say no, there will be no one to implement Ford’s privatization.
We know our healthcare system is in crisis but there are solutions that don't involve privatization or jeopardize patient care. Our hospitals are becoming increasingly corporatized with CEOs and board chairs coming from big banks. We want hospitals to prioritize patient care, not profits.

Hospitals are the frontline of the privatization fight, and CEOs hold a significant amount of sway with the government — and for the most part, they don't hear from the public.
