Curriculum Change, Not Climate Change

The time for climate action came as soon as the science did. We know what will happen if we continue to do nothing about the climate crisis, but who will lead the action we need if the people it will most affect don't fully understand it? We need updated and more frequent climate change education that includes the actions we can still do to halt global temperature rise before it's too late.

Why is this important?

"Observed increases in well-mixed greenhouse gas (GHG) concentrations since around 1750 are unequivocally caused by human activities...Each of the last four decades has been successively warmer than any decade that preceded it since 1850."
-IPCC Assessment report 6, working group 1

The climate crisis does not end here.
We know what we need to do to lower emissions. It is essential and only fair for students to have required and updated climate curriculum to spread the awareness we need as fast as we need it.
