Communicate with Clarity

Communicate with Clarity

Ensure that all communications from government to the public are clear and simple so the message can be understood by the average reader.
Most governments have communication policies that call for plain language but they are promoted nor enforced with staff.

Why is this important?

A democracy cannot function effectively is the public is uninformed and the government is responsible. If the public receives understandable information, they can more fully participate in civic life.
