Protest Vail Resorts Decision to replace Whistler Blackcomb’s Fitzsimmons Chair with 8 person lift

Vail Resorts has made a shortsighted quick decision without any user consultation to replace the Fitzsimmons Chair with a new chair from Park City that doubles the capacity. Problem is that the chair it drops you at is not being upgraded and is only a 4 seater. Guess what the backlog is going to be like on the weekends, holidays and powder days at the Garbanzo chair?

Why is this important?

If you want Vail Resorts to go back to the drawing board with a better thought out plan for Whistler Blackcomb, join me in telling them to reverse this decision. Or be prepared for the fallout in the 23/24 season

Vail Resorts today announced that the Creekside and Red Chair upgrades will not be completed for the opening of the 2022/23 season. Vail Resorts made a short sighted decision to put this lift in Whistler to replace the Fitz because they had a lift lying around that Park City rejected for similar reasons.
