We know our healthcare system is in crisis but there are solutions that don't involve privatization or jeopardize patient care. Our hospitals are becoming increasingly corporatized with CEOs and board chairs coming from big banks. We want hospitals to prioritize patient care, not profits.
Why is this important?
Healthcare workers, unions and medical experts have been ringing the alarm bells for months. If hospital CEOs hear from the community they serve, we can convince them to not only reject Ford's privatization plans but to also share the solutions like repealing wage-suppression Bill 124 and increasing spending on public healthcare. A resilient, well-funded, public healthcare system is crucial to our community!
