Dear Minister Rodriguez-Canadians pay the highest rate for cell phone usage of any western nation. There is something wrong with a system that allows this to happen. As the Minister responsible for the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunication Commission (CRTC) we need to have the Commission conduct investigative hearings into why Canadian cell phone rates are so high.
Why is this important?
Cell phone use is no longer a luxury---it is a necessity. There is no logic answer for why Canadian rates are so out line---when such lower rates are available just across the American border!
