Hydro One - Enough Is Enough
1) This ridiculous delivery fee needs to stop. Either eliminate it entirely, or have a flat fee system. $20.00-$30.00, something reasonable.
2) Stop selling Ontario's hydro to other provinces and to the US below cost. Period.
3) If there is so much extra power being produced, start with giving YOUR CUSTOMERS the discount, then, if need be, sell off the excess at a REASONABLE RATE.
4) Put PERMANENT halt of ALL disconnections November 1 - March 30. Period.

Why is this important?
There are WAY too many families and middle & low income people needing to choose between groceries & power every month. Hydro is a NECESSITY and should be treated as such. NO ONE should have to make the decision between power and groceries, or rent, or needed clothes for their kids. Ontario continues to have the HIGHEST electricity prices in the whole country. Being cut from hydro, reduces the ability for parents to provide hot, nutritious meals & hot showers for their kids, which results with CAS stepping in amd taking "temporary custody" (CAS is never temporary) of the children & families are being ripped apart. Results? The LACK OF AFFORDABLE HYDRO IS CASUING PARENTS TO LOOSE THEIR CHILDREN. Affordable hydro should be available to everyone, especially in a 1st world country like ours. However, that is FAR from the case here. This is unacceptable.
Businesses are closing faster then ever. Stores & restaurants that have be around decade, or generations are closing due to high hydro prices. Just a few months ago, a local butcher/deli here had to close up shop. He'd been in business for a good 30yrs. We have Hydro One to thank. Unfortunately, I'm unable to find the screenshot of their bill, but it was absolute theft.
Hydro has never been so cheap to produce in Ontario, yet prices are at an all time high, with little to no change in the foreseeable future.
It seems that the more you try to reduce your consumption, the higher the bill gets. I know many people, including myself, who literally live in a cold, dark home 24/7 to try to keep my bills low. What it got me, was a higher monthly payment, almost $200.00 to be specific. And what if you use 0 energy? Well, just have a look at our picture.

How it will be delivered
Petition will be delivered either via email, or if I am able to raise the funds to print it off & drive it to Ms. Wynne myself, that is the preferred method. I will also be emailing signatures to Station14 (a local online news source), Global TV and CTV NEWS.
