Extend tax filing deadline

Dear Minister,
Due to COVID lockdowns, many people with income below a certain level have difficulty getting their tax returns prepared by CRA approved tax preparation volunteers. These people in particular rely on the submission of their return to ensure the continuation of their benefits. As the government did last year, it would be prudent to extend the tax filing deadline. Our southern neighbours have already done so.
