Canadian Government please cover the medications for seniors.

As a ally to my senior friends who have worked hard all their lives. And now are senior citizens in Canada. They are on CPP and it barely covers the costs if rent and food. The medications that are detrimental to their healths are costing some especially diabetics money they do not have and theses ppl are going without food at times just because they need to pay for their meds. And some meds they need name brand because of allergies and it's ridiculous. As Canadians we help others in different Countries. We bring foreigners over which I find awesome. That's what Canada is about. But when it comes to helping pay for seniors meds it's a no? WHY are we not helping them. Is it because once your a certain age it does not matter anymore? It hurts me as a Canadian that our government officials are either not seeing this first hand or is it because oh they lived along life now?!! We need to support our seniors. So please help sign this petition. Stand up for your family's , father's mother's grandparents and friends. God bless let's do the right thing. A senior shouldn't starve. Just to be able to try and stay alive .
