call on parliament to impose sanctions on the settler state of israel

Calling for a ceasefire in Gaza doesn't absolve Canada from standing with Israel as they commit war crimes. We are calling on the government of Canada to impose economic sanctions on Israel, a complete arms embargo on Israel, sanctioning of Israeli officials guilty of genocidal speech, support ICC investigations of Israeli war crimes, increase aid to Gaza and halt aid to Israel, put Israel on Canada's international sanctions list.

Why is this important?

Don't let MPs gloat about Canada finally calling for a ceasefire in Gaza, this is not enough. More than 20 000 Palestinian lives have now been lost due to Israeli bombing. We must hold our elected officials accountable for making us complicit in the genocide of Palestinians.
