Leadnow's Housing Campaign Launch

On Tuesday, July 23rd, the Leadnow community will come together to kick off an exciting new campaign and share how YOU can get involved!

We're in a housing crisis. Decades of government inaction have left housing to the whims of wealthy and powerful investors and landlords, who have exploited market conditions to increase rents and drive speculation, leading to skyrocketing home and rental prices.

To challenge the status quo, it’s going to take thousands of us coming together to build the political power we need to push politicians for solutions that put people, not profits, first.

This summer, we will gather in cities and towns across the country to discuss the housing crisis, its root causes, and what solutions we can fight for together. We’ll discuss drivers of extreme rent increases and housing insecurity, and share our challenges and our hopes for the future.

Alongside our neighbours and community members, we’ll build a shared vision of housing justice and shape the strategy for a national campaign to force the federal government to take decisive action.
