Homes for All Petition Table

The housing crisis is hitting people in Canada hard. On the campaign trail, Carney promised to tackle housing unaffordability by creating an entity called Build Canada Homes (BCH) — a new Crown Corporation that would “act as a developer to build affordable housing at scale.” 

If we want to tackle the housing crisis, we need to start by demanding BCH’s mandate expand to ensure affordability is the #1 priority — and that people, not corporate developers, are the first to benefit.

On Sept 20th we will be tabling the Homes For All Petition. 

We will meet at https://maps.app.goo.gl/GtdM8q2snM3p7LPs9 (Songhees Park). The event will start at the end of the march and end at 3pm. The march begins at 12:00PM/noon at 501 Belleville Street (BC Legislature).

We will provide the Petition and QR code materials and a table under a canopy. Dress for the weather, of course.

The event is wheelchair accessible.
