Homes for All at Guilford Town Centre

The housing crisis is hitting people in Canada hard. On the campaign trail, Carney promised to tackle housing unaffordability by creating an entity called Build Canada Homes (BCH) — a new Crown Corporation that would “act as a developer to build affordable housing at scale.” 

If we want to tackle the housing crisis, we need to start by demanding BCH’s mandate expand to ensure affordability is the #1 priority — and that people, not corporate developers, are the first to benefit.

On Saturday November 22nd from 1pm - 3pm, we will be canvassing to collect petition signatures for the Homes for All campaign at Guildford Town Centre. We will meet at the bus loop at the north end of Guilford Town Centre on 104th Avenue. It is a wheelchair accessible location, right at a transit hub with parking on-site and accessible washrooms in the Guilford Town Centre.  If you've trouble finding us, call me, Stephen, at 778-584-9794. 

We will provide petitions, pens, clipboards, and flyers. We suggest you bring along a drink/snack, and be sure to wear comfortable shoes. It looks like there is a possibility of rain as well, so do dress appropriately. We are getting so close to our goal of 10,000 signatures, and this is an excellent opportunity for one last push.
