Homes Are for People
Join us for a community conversation to tackle the housing crisis!
This summer, hundreds of people across the country will gather in small groups to discuss the housing crisis, its root causes, and what solutions we can fight for together. We’ll discuss drivers of extreme rent increases and housing insecurity and share our challenges and our hopes for the future. Alongside our neighbours and community members, we’ll help shape the strategy for a national campaign to urge the federal government to take decisive action.
Accessibility information:
This event will be at the Unitarian Centre at 2700 College Ave. The nearest transit stop is just outside on Angus St. and there is free street parking. Enter at the front door by crossing the lawn (The city has the street fenced off).
Coffee and snacks will be provided.
The venue is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible, but a stair lift is available. Washrooms are all-gender.
Service animals are welcome at the event.
This event is scent-free.
Masks will be available but are not required.
